2023 New Plan Year Benefit Reminder  

Annual Enrollment is a good time to review your benefit plans to make sure they meet the needs of you and your family. Annual Enrollment requires action on medical, dental, vision, and flexible spending accounts, meaning if you would like to keep or update your these benefits, you will need to take action. All other benefit options will default into 2023.


What's Changing

  • New!  Online Benefits Portal to Enroll and Manage Your Benefits!
  • New! Spending / Savings Account Administrator
  • New! Pharmacy Administrator for BCBSIL Participants - OptumRx to Express Scripts
  • New! Total Health Management Program with LIVONGO - BCBSIL participants will have access to LIVONGO, to assist with conditions such as hypertension,  pre-diabetes. and diabetes
  • New! Part-time employees working an average of 20 hour per week will be eligible to elect voluntary benefits
  • Update! Access limitations to BlueHPN - Access to BlueHPN will be limited to employees that reside in a zip code access to the High Performance Network
  • Update! BlueHPN Tiered Plan discontinued effective 1/1/23
  • Update! Coverage End Date - Medical, dental, and vision coverage will end at the end of the month in which an employee terminates employment vs. 14-days post-termination
